Dress Up 2011 - February


The theme for February's dress challenge is Gustav Klimt. Quite a challenge to think of how I was going to work this one. A rummage through my old scrapbook papers solved the problem!

I'm sure you recognize The Kiss. Klimt completed this in 1908. Klimt is for February...the month for love a major theme in Klimt's artwork. Here are a few examples of Gustav's work:





I based my dress on 'The Kiss'. I found an old sheet of 'Tres Jolie - Tres Bien - Birthday Boy Circles paper from My Mind's Eye'. The template used for the doll is from PSX. I jointed the doll with brads to give her movement. The decoration is a selection of sequins and beads for the many I have collected over the years!
