Wedding Day - Jenn & Titus

The third wedding I was asked to make a card for this summer was for Jenn and Ian (Titus).

This time I used papers and letters from Basic Grey's Olivia collection.
My 'Bride and Groom' were also a Simply Print download from Lily of the Valley
The die for the card is from Crafter's Companion and creates this decorative aperture which is ideal for weddings.

I added butterflies using a Martha Stewart 3 in 1 punch, with tiny flat back pearls. The latter were also added to the flower centres. The Martha Stewart frond punch was used to add leaves to the flowers. A little sparkel was created with some Crystal Stickles.

As before I made Jenn and Ian a scrabble letter frame, this one was 12" x 12" and came from Hobbycraft. Lots of words which have meaning to the happy couple.

Best wishes to Ian and Jenn

Wedding Day - Abby & Ricky

I was asked to make several cards and gifts for a couples who were married over the summer. Here is the first of those commissions.

I purchased and downloaded a Simply Print image called Mr and Mrs from Lily of the Valley and cut the image into a circle with one of my  Stitched Mat Circles by Lil' Inker Designs.
The lacy effect cirlce and border are cut using a Sizzix Thinlits die set 'Doily and Doily Border'. The flowers are dies from Crafter's Companion.
The papers and letter stickers are from an old Basic Grey collection 'Plumeria'.
Embellishments include a wide and narrow ribbons, sequins, & flat-backed pearls.
I also inked my papers with 'Dusty Concord' Distress Ink.

I added a little decoration to the inside of the card too.

The gift is a framed crossword made with wooden scrabble letters. The words chosen especially for the happy couple.
As well as the letter tiles, I used:
9" x 9" Frame from Ikea

Best wishes to the bride and groom.
