Oliver for Oliver

I just love these new papers from Basic Grey called Oliver, and they really suited the photo of little Oliver in Cornwall last month, when he was captured gazing out to sea.

I made this layout in response to the challenge on this week's Saturday Challenge on the Scrap, Paper Scissors blog from Paper Maze.

This is the sketch:

The pleated ribbon has a chain of shell shapes which I rescued from some old sandles before throwing them away. The ribbon s thanks to Anita. The quote is written on a red Bazzill stamped first with a custom made journalling block stamp and surrounded with half a sticker from the BG element sticker sheet.  It reads:

"The sea, once it casts its spell, holds one in is net of wonder forever."Jacques Yves Cousteau

The details on the right of the photo are on another journalling block sticker from the Oliver collection pack. I added a lot of card candy from Craftwork Cards.

  1. Aaawww how cute, love the LO and the picture. The papers work really well with this and the ribbon pleat with shells is brilliant. X

  2. This is such a cute page Lynn, what a little smacher he is, little poppet. I LOVE that ribbon pleat and the clever use of the chain and charms..xxx
