18 Years of Friendship and Two Birthdays

My sister asked me to make a card for her to send to her friend Debbie. They met and became friends when they were in hospital having their babies - Sam and Brooke 18 years ago yesterday.

I typed the message 'Friends Forever - Apart or Together' in lime and pink and cut this into strips to make stems for the flowers. I also types '18 Years of Friendhsip' in the same colours and punched these out with the Stampin' Up circle punch. These were mounted on scalloped circles using another SU punch. The larger circle and scalloped circles were cut on the Cricut.
The Stamped image is from Lili of the Valley Ltd. - coloured with  Promarkers.
Patterned Papers are from 6"x6" Basic Grey pad.
I used a selection of flat backed gems and some perfect pearls, together with Color Box chalk inks.

I also made her a card to send to Brooke, by adapting the card I made for the June Scrapology Challenge.

I used some Sassafralass glittered letter stickers to add the name and number.

Happy Birthday Brooke and Sam!

  1. It's really good to have friends like that, you don't always see each other but know you can pick up the phone and continue as though you spoke yesterday.
Great cards, love the typed messages.
