Photoshoot

I am enjoying scrapping some pictures of Catherine taken at a recent photo shoot she had in London. I wanted to pick out the pale turquoise reflected in the metallic background, the black and white of her dress and just a touch of red for her belt.

I used a sheet of white Bazzill which as a glazed leaf pattern on it and spritzed it with inks and mists in black and turquoise. I trimmed the edges by about an inch then cut into it with a Martha Stewart border punch, then distressed the edges before mounting it onto paper.

The papers are all basic grey, the black background paper is from the old 'Black Tie' collection while the others are all from the newer 'Lucille' collection. The scroll is cut with a Sizzix die and the words are various rub ons. There is a little washi tape, some lace, ribbon  and some gems and pearls.

The picture wheel is one from a large collection I have that dates back to when we were children, and has been added to when my children were small. I wanted to include one and was going to use my sizzix die but found this damaged one in the box so decided to use the real thing as only a mall part of it would show.

More inspiration from Heather Jacob went into this page.

Thanks for looking.
