Afternoon Tea

I am introducing the colourful June Papermaze Kit over on the Scrap, Paper, Scissors Blog starting today. This month's kit is packed with a beautiful colour collection of yellows, pinks, oranges and fawn. Patterned papers, Bazzill card stock and a selection of embellishments. 

Here is the first layout I made with this lovely kit.


In 2014 my Mum turned 80 and we took her to The Ritz for afternoon Tea, this photo shows me with my daughter at the famous venue.

The Kiff Family

Here is my second layout made with the romantic February Papermaze Kit. This beautiful collection is ideal for Heritage layouts. I came across this lovely group photo from our family ancestors. I have added details of these characters at the end of this blog post.

This photo was sent to me by a someone I have linked up with through Ancestry. It shows George and Irene Kiff with Charles, Leonard, Irene, Thomas and Dorothy.

Charles Kiff was the husband of my Great Aunt Florence 
Charles was born on 27th August 1898 in Lambeth, his parents were Thomas George Kiff (1859 -1936) & Irene Leonora Eaton (1869 – 1956)

Charlie married Florence Dorothy Holder (1894 – 1962) in Bromley in 1921. After Florences death her married Marietta Wheatley (1908 – 1982) in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada on 31st August 1963

Charlie and Florrie had one child - Vera Enid Kiff (1922 – 2021), and three grandchildren - Patricia, Doreen & Sheila.

Char;es had seven siblings - Frank, May, Alice, Leonard, Thomas George, Irene Leonora & Dorothy Amy.

Charlie died on 28th June 1995in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada at the age of 97.

Charlie and Florrie emigrated to Canada, setting sail from Southampton to Quebec on 20th July 1926. The sailed on the 'Antonia' - Cunard Line

Remy - This is my Story

A Mother's Love

On the Papermaze Blog today, I shared my second pair of layouts using the pretty Papermaze kit for July. This kit is packed with soft, natural colours and includes double-sided patterned papers,  Bazzill Basics cardstock and a whole bunch of co-ordinating embellishments. There is also a pack of matching Bazzill Basics sheets, available to compliment the kit.

Central Park - Alice in Wonderland Sculpture

Today was the Papermaze crop, and here is my layout made with this month's kit, designed by Vanessa. I had some papers left over so made a birthday card with the scraps.

My layout shows a photo of the Alice in Wonderland Sculpture in Central Park, from our holiday there back in 2015.

Geisha Girl

Our Wedding

Hello, Lynn with you today, and the next layout made using the beautiful February kit from Papermaze. Pretty romantic papers, together with Bazzill cardstock and embellishments. This time I am using some old black and white wedding photo. The wedding of family members Gerty and Bill, taken in 1931.

Smile
