Wedding Day Card - Butterflies

I made a card for my sister to give her friends Lisa and James. She asked for butterflies and the colours ivory and burgundy. She had seen the card I had made for Gavin and Sarah back in the summer and wanted something similar but smaller.

I used dies and punches for the butterflies and cut them over the both colours, mounting the ivory over the burgundy each time. I glued them in the centres only so the wings could stand away from the page with the help of some 3D foam pads in some cases. Flat-backed pearls were added to the bodies.

I also used:
Corner rounder punch
Colorbox chalk ink
Lili of the Valley greeting stamp
Sizzlet dies for the lettering.
Craftwork cards scalloped card blank 6" x 6"
Cuttlebug embossing folder (dotty texture)
Woodware Circle punch and Scalloped circle punch
Burgundy and Ivory Bazzill
Metallic Gold paper
Stampin' Up Punch and burgundy ink pad
Memory Box Butterfly die
Martha Stewart 3 in 1 Butterfly punch, and butterfly punch

Good luck to Lisa and James on their wedding day and thanks for looking.
Lynn x
