Rumble in the Jumble

A new layout made in response to Karen's New Year/ Old Year Challenge. To use some of your oldest stash or our newest stash.

Between Christmas and new year 1997 in Old Town, Hastings the children were fascinated with this junk shop. They spent some time examining all the books and toys, and no doubt we came away with a few treasures.

This layout was created with Basic Grey, Eskimo Kisses papers and stickers (the most recent papers I have purchased from Basic Grey). Chosen because they were the perfect colours for the photos rather than a Christmas subject. As these photos could have been taken during any winter month really. The white letters in the title are American Craft Thickers, and the small button letters are from Doodlebug Designs ( I have had these in mys stash for many years). I was inspired by one of the January 2010 page maps as a start for this page which I called 'Rumble in the Jumble'.

In addition I used some large paperclips decorated with felt flowers (not sure where these came from, but they have been in my stash for a long time). The beautiful deep red velvet ric-rac has also been in my stash for a while.

Not the best scan of the layout, I will try to get a good photo of it in the better light tomorrow.
The stitching the two halves of the layout on the scanner cuts off the extreme right edge and bottom of the layout so here is the detail in the right hand corner:
