Family Tree

Another layout using April's Scrapaholix kit. The papers are from Kaiser with Core'dinations Card stock. The technique is using Artisan Elements from Pink Paislee. There are two frames in a kit so had to buy two kits! They are made from vinyl and are soft and flexible. I coloured the frames with chalk inks and rubbed gold metallic cream into the embossed design.

The tree was cut from brown cardstock using the Heritage Cartridge for the Cricut. I also used the same cartridge for the title. This page will be the title page for my Holder Humm family tree scrapbook. The bottom photo is my mother, Mary Susan Holder. The middle couple are her parents Winifred May Humm and Ernest Charles Holder. Top left are Win's parents Henry William Humm and Susan Dunn. Top Right are Ernest's parents Frederick Henry Holder and Florence Williams (known as Emma Jane). I wrote the names and dates in tiny letters along the branches.

  1. Another fab LO Lynn, good to see the tree you cut when we were in Suffolk. The frames work really well with this too.

  2. Love this idea Lynn. You manage to simplify things so well. Me, I couldn't see how to scrap one side of the family - this is such a good idea. Must get the Cricut Heritage now!! x
