Dance 'till You Drop

Here is my second design team layout for the Scrapology  'H is for Hexagons' challenge.

We are scraplifting this layout by Sutty (Katherine Sutton)

Which she in turn created using this sketch by Valerie Mangan

The papers I used were mostly scraps from My Mind's Eye Follow Your Heart, Be Amazing and Be Happy collections in both the 6" x 6" and 12" x 12" form.

This time I did some dry brushing in peach paint onto cream cardstock, I also used some bubble wrap. I trimmed this down to 11" x11" and stitched it onto some peach cardstock using the sewing machine.

The title is American Crafts Thickers in foam.

The bunting and flags were cut from the same papers with the Stampin' Up Build a Banner punch.
The bunting is attached to the layout hanging from twine, attached at either end with a eyelet brad. Some 3D foam pads help keep the flags in place.

The photo is my daughter Catherine in a show called 'They Shoot Horses, Don't They? which she took part in in January as part of her course at University.

Thank you for looking, please pop over to Scrapology to see the details for the competition, which runs until 5th October.
