Home Sweet Home - CSI Case # 38

Here is my layout solving CSI case # 38. The photo is of my mother when she was about 4 years old (1938/9). In the back garden of her childhood home in Hampden Avenue Beckenham. She is here together with her Mum and Dad.
I used a variety of papers all from My Mind's Eye, but different collections I have acquired over the years.
Miss Caroline Fiddlesticks - 'Lucky' Tapestry paper as background
Miss Caroline grey woodgrain paper ? name
Lost and Found - Portobello Road 'Party' Looking Glass paper (newsprint mat and looking glass with bird).
Tres JoLie - Birthday Boy - Circles - brown
Bohemia -

THE SCHEME - USE ALL 5 COLORS -  items I used highlighted in blue
Bark - brown - taken from the tree - brown paper for tree
Sunday Morning Sky - greenish gray - taken from the background - Papers, American Craft Thickers - velvet
Washed Denim - grayish blue - taken from their jeans - Papers
White Woof - off-white - taken from the dog - Tiny letter stickers
Leafy - celadon green - taken from leaves on the tree - Punched leaves and papers

THE OUAS SKETCH - USE THE SKETCH AS INSPIRATION FOR YOUR DESIGN
You may interpret the elements in the design as you wish, but use the basic composition of the sketch.
You may flip or rotate the sketch to suit your design.#
Have fun!
EVIDENCE - CHOOSE AT LEAST TWO ELEMENTS:
trees/branches
birds
flowers
newsprint pattern

border
china/silverware/cups/pots,etc. as an accent
dog or other pet accent
misting
woodgrain

TESTIMONY - CHOOSE AT LEAST ONE ELEMENT:

Write in the form of a newspaper article.
Document something about a pet.
Document a daily routine.
Add a border to your journaling spot.

Use the lyrics from Lionel Richie's Easy to inspire your journaling--use the happy or sad (or both) parts of the song.
Inspiration Words: together, read, daily-- use these as inspiration for your journaling, not just as a title - Journalling behind looking glass which lifts out.

The deadline for completing Case File No. 38
is Sunday, September 30, 11:59 p.m. EST.

Thanks For looking
