Winter White Christmas Card

This month's card challenge on Scrapology has been set by Natalie O'Shea from Stampin' Up.
Natalie challenges us to create a card featuring a product / tool not normally associated with Xmas used for a Christmas card ....

Here is my second card for the DT in answer to that challenge.

I used a variety of flower and leaf punches, as well as a circle and scalloped circle punches. Flat backed pearls, Liquid Pearls, crystal Stickles, SU ribbon, Lili of the Valley Sentiment stamp. All on a textured white 6" x 6" card blank from Craft Creations.

Take a look on the Scrapology blog for more details and to see what the rest of the DT came up with. There is also a fabby stampy prize on offer.

Christmas or Halloween Boot

This month's card challenge on Scrapology has been set by Natalie O'Shea from Stampin' Up.
Natalie challenges us to create a card featuring a product / tool not normally associated with Xmas used for a Christmas card ....

Here is my card for the DT in answer to that challenge.

I used the Cricut and a Halloween cartridge to cut this witch's boot. It is decorated with a selection of Making Memories papers and Bazzill Cardstock. I also used a floral Martha Stewart punch, ribbons, lace and a tiny bell.

Take a look on the Scrapology blog for more details and to see what the rest of the DT came up with. There is also a fabby stampy prize on offer.

Welcome Christmas

The third class at the Stampin' Up Christmas Craft Day Extravaganza on Saturday was taught by Natalie.

This delightful set of cards used gold, red and white card together with the traditional 'Welcome Christmas' stamp set, and a clever twist on card folding and shapes.

This crisp sparkly snow scene was created by making a refection and then embossing. Adding ribbon, brad and punched flowers complete this special card.

Second was this view through the window frame created with a square punch.

My tree looks a little wonky here, but not IRL!!

and a creative fold for the card itself.

Third is this twisted easel card
Using the Big shot, embossing, punching, stamping and ribbon.

Pines & Poinsettias

Another class from Saturday's Stampin' Up Christmas, All Day Craft Extravaganza. This one was also taught by Zoe.

ROSETTE CHRISTMAS
The first included a pleated rosette, and a tiny hanging tag, the stamps were coloured with the water based pens which I think gave the images a lovely shaded effect, they looked more 'aged' which I think really works well with this delightful set of stamps. These stamps were included in our kit for the day along with all the materials for the projects, and we have plenty left over too. I will certainly make some more of these cards.

SCALLOP PINE CONE
Using punches and ribbon.

POINSETTIAS
Using the beautiful new Scallop Dots Ribbon and 3D layering of the stamped image.

Lovely class again Zoe. Thanks.
Stamps - Pines and Poinsettias
Papers - Holly Berry Bouquet
Punches - scallop circle, 1 3/8" circle, Scallop Edge Border
Cardstock - Stampin' Up A4 Smooth cardstock - Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler. Wild Wasabi, Chocolate Chip
Pens - Stampin' Write Marker - Cherry Cobbler, Wild Wasabi and Chocolate Chip - I loved the effect of using these pens to colour the stamps.

Thanks for taking a peek.
