Bo Bunny Sweet Moments - Little Boxes

My latest creations made for the Papermaze design team are now on the blog. I made a collection of boxes using the Sweet Moments collection from Bo Bunny. When I saw these papers and all the delightful motifs I thought they would be ideal for decorating cake and chocolate boxes as well as cards and layouts.

Here is the full collection I made using the papers together with Bazzill Basics Cardstock, the We R Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board and Crop-A-Dile, and a Score board.

I used papers called Confectionery, Delish, Delectable, Allure and the Combo Sticker sheet.

I searched the web for instructions for different boxes and found plenty of You Tube videos to help. I have linked to an example tutorial for each box on the Papermaze blog, but bear in mind you may want to find others and / or adjust sizes.

Gift Box for Christmas Decorations

I made lots of friends and family sets of Walnut Christmas tree decorations a few years ago, and recently my sister asked for some more, her theme being pink, white and silver. So I set about making another 12 decorations for her. Once made I wanted a box to present them in that she could also use to store them in together with those I made her before.

Linda had given me some strong colourful boxes she no longer needed, and I remembered one of them was pink. Then  I selected some patterned papers from Papermaze - Sugarplums by Doodlebug Designs.

I decorated the box with two papers from the collection - Tiny Trimmings for the top & Christmas Trim for the sides. I used a Sizzix die to cut the lettering from corrugated cardboard, and painted them with Distress Paint (acrylic paints). They were then sprayed with pink iridescent glitter spray. Difficult to see the sparkle in the photos. I added some ribbon and a bow.

Inside of the box - lined with egg carton covered in Christmas tissue paper. with room to add the existing decorations.

Christmas Crop, Cards and Gifts

We had our monthly crop at Cardinal Colours on 3rd December and my lovely friends made some super cards and presents.

Sue made these beautiful Kanzashi flowers

Linda made this Decoupage card and this lovely gift box containing this beautiful handmade bracelet and other goodies.

This fun card is from Jill. 

Jill also made this box which was filled with scrapping goodies.

I love this clever snowman card by Anita. She also made this delightful cake stand, which I can't wait to show off over Christmas.

Chris is very clever with beads and this year she made some tree baubles - here is mine.

Post Box

Vicky and Mark asked me to arrange a box for their cards to be posted into at the wedding reception. I had a hunt around for a suitable box and then covered it in gift wrap, inside and out.
Then with the Cricut and Bazzill cardstock (the same as I used for the invitations, album / card and horseshoe). The Storybook cartridge was used for the initials and the Sweetheart cartridge for the images. I aso used a Martha Stewart lacy punch (thanks Linda).

A Box of Cards

Linda and I traveled to Carolyn's house on Saturday for a one day Stampin' Up retreat. We had a lovely day and were well looked after, with refreshments throughout the day. Carolyn had made us a little goody bag decorated with a daisy and filled with a chocolate bunny and a ribbon broach. During the day we made a mini album to be decorated later, two layouts and a box of cards.

These are is the delightful gift bags with chocolate and brooch.

Our kit contained items from the gorgeous Springtime Vintage collection of papers and accessories, along with peals, twine and lots of cardstock in coordinating colours. Look at the lovely bag of buttons and the reel of seam binding ribbon! Although Carolyn taught us she had thoughtfully put together detailed instructions and these were bound in a folder, which means we will be able to make things again without difficulty and with all the measurements.
