Sweetheart

Saturday was crop day at Papermaze, and Vanessa had designed the crop layout kit this month.
It's a great design for February being the month of Valentine's day.

Here is my version, showing my baby granddaughter at her sensory group - Love Bug themed session.

The kit contained:
Bazzill White and Carrot Cake
Simple Stories - Hearts Eyes - Kissing Booth
Pieces of pink and teal patterned papers
Heart sequins
Sheet of old Bazzill to make a heart template

Tools and media available at the crop to share:
Distress Oxide Inks
Border punch
Alphabet die

My additions:
Nuvo Glitter Drops

Here is Vanessa's original layout:

Valentine Card II

Back with another Valentine card. I saw a card with this wording on in a newsagent while queuing to pay and thought it would be brilliant for someone better known as 'Toad'!

So as a last minute card I made this with some of the bits left over from other work which remained on my desk top. I used the Cricut and the Sweetheart cartridge. when I searched on the My Cut Search site I was amazed how many cartridges had toads/frogs on them. This is such a useful facility for finding what you already have without searching through every booklet.

There is a mix of patterend papers Magnolia and Doodlebug Designs Inc. included, and several colours of Bazzill cardstock.

The font is 'cheri', I liked the way it dots the 'i's' with a tiny heart. I cut and layered this with my usual combination of Woodware and Stampin' Up punches.

The hearts are a combination of two different packs I have had a ling time, they were purchased from Paperchase.

Happy Valentine Day All

Valentine Card I

I made this valentine card using the Cricut and two cartridges, Wild Card for the envelopes & liners, and Sweethearts for the scalloped heart. I was inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest, but it has turned out very different.

This time I used the Basic Grey 'Kissing Booth' collection:

Element stickers and papers - heart breaker, butterfly kisses, lip lock, I do, we belong & cupid. The smaller hearts were cut from the paper.

I also used a Martha Stewart border punch, Stickles and Distress Ink.
