Henry Charles Edwards

Here is my last design team layout made with the April Papermaze Kit. This one is rather a contrast to the pretty purple and lilac laypus made with this kit so far. I love this Mintay Papers - Man Cave collection - #5 paper, from the kit. I wanted to use it for a masculine layout using my new Vault Watch Gears Sizzix die set. I decided to scrap this photo of my husband's grandfather.

Please pop over to the Scrap, Paper Scissors Blog for full details of this layout.

Here is a list of the items I chose from the kit:

Mintay Papers - Man Cave collection - #5
Bazzill Basics Cardstock - Date Swirl

From my own collection of supplies, I used the following items:
Pearlised and metallic card
Chipboard
Stitched Rectangles Sizzix Die Set
Distress Inks
Watercolour paper
A6 Sizzix 3-D Texture Fades Folder - Numbered
Distress Mica Sprays
Gilding wax

Black Bazzill
Acetate
Brads
Chain
3D foam
49 and Market Krafty Garden Acetate Assortment
Tickets and stamps
Embossing Powders

That's all from the April kit, although I still have papers, cardstock and embellishments left to use.
Thanks for looking.

Completely Puzzled!

Challenge #10 in the FTLOPP Journey of Change is to use something in a different way. I chose to use this Peartree Cutfile as a stencil. I also used some pieces from the die cut too.

Mum loves jigsaws, so finding this shop in Ambleside, when we took her to the Lake District for a holiday was a treasure trove for her.

I used:
12" x 12" watercolour paper
white cardstock
Peartree cutfile
Distress Oxide Inks
Glossy Accents

Happy Birthday x 3

It's amazing to realise that our niece's triplets will be 10 years old today. Happy birthday to Oliver, Hannah and Lucy.

I few months ago I experimented with watercolour papers, Distress Oxide Inks, Crafter's Companion Dies and Echo Park Stencils and made a few cards. I was pleased with the bright, cheery results and decided to make some more, varying the colours to make a card for each of the children.

I used:
Echo Park Wish Upon A Star - 6" x 6" Make A Wish Stencil
Echo Park Party Time - 6" x 6" Birthday Candles Stencil
Distress Oxide Ink Pads
Baker's Twine in various colours to match each card.
Die'sire Classiques 1" Alphabet Dies - Contemporary Uppercase Die Set
The balloons, and Happy Birthday Banners are from an older Crafter's Companion set.
Watercolour paper
6" x 6" white card blanks.

Happy Birthday Oliver, Lucy and Hannah.
