Here is my last design team layout made with the April Papermaze Kit. This one is rather a contrast to the pretty purple and lilac laypus made with this kit so far. I love this Mintay Papers - Man Cave collection - #5 paper, from the kit. I wanted to use it for a masculine layout using my new Vault Watch Gears Sizzix die set. I decided to scrap this photo of my husband's grandfather.

Paris

This week I'm on the Papermaze Blog, with my first two layouts using the September Papermaze kit. I can see many layouts of holidays abroad being created with these beautiful rustic travel destination papers.

Here is my second layout, the photos on this page were taken when we visited the Eiffel Tower, the lift was not working so we took the stairs!! The photos are of views on the way and a photo from the ground looking up.

Travel

This week I'm on the Papermaze Blog, with my first two layouts using the September Papermaze kit. I can see many layouts of holidays abroad being created with these beautiful rustic travel destination papers. 

This layout uses a photo of a pretty view from a trip to Lake Garda, Italy. I wanted to make it look like the view from a window as it was taken from out table in a restaurant in Malcesine with Monte Baldo in the background.

Carta Bella - Old World Travel - INDIA

My thrid page using the Old World Travel papers from Carta Bella, is on the Papermaze Blog today. This time I wanted to record the fact my Grandfather spent some time in India during the First World War. I recently discovered he put together an album of his travel photos. Selecting a few of these to scan I was able to add them to his portrait for this layout.

Ma Cherie

The photograph shows my Grandfather as Best Man to his Brother Frank, when he married Maud in 1913. It also shows two of his sisters as bridesmaids.

Make and Take with Carol - Mini Canvas Easel

The second make and take from the Papermaze Christmas crop was designed by Carol. We made a mini Christmas canvas using stencils, script stamps, gilding wax, acrylic paints and stickles. The Poinsettia is cut from Bazzill with a Sizzix dies and the letters are cut from a Sizzlit alphabet. Dew drops were used for the flower centre.
