Outdoor Girl

Part two of the March Papermaze Kit is being shared on the Scrap, Paper, Scissors Blog today. I have created two more layouts using papers, cardstock and embellishments from the kit, together with items from my own stash. Today Im sharing the first of these layouts.

Having seen many layouts created with tags as a main element, I wanted to try this idea. My granddaughter loves to be outside, whatever the weather. Here she is in one of her favourite places to explore - Abbey Wood Ruins.

For full details to make the layout, plese see the Scrap, Paper, Scissors Blog

To make this layout, I used the following items from my stash and the kit:

From the Kit:

Carta Bella - Feels Like Home collection - Cottage Floral

Simple Stories - Simple Vintage Junk Drawer collection - Willow
Prima Cherry Sweet flowers
Uniquely Creative Bohemian Escape Vellum
Kaisercraft Frames
Bazzill Basics Cardstock - Classic Smooth White

My Stash:
Gathered Twigs Distressed Ink
Tim Holtz Sizzix Tag Collection Die Set
Ribbon
Tim Holtz - Sizzix Alphanumeric Bold
Bazzill from a selection of scraps
Carta Bella - Feels Like Home - Element Stickers
Green gems

That's all for today, I'll be back with the last layout for March tomorrow.

This Was So Much Fun

It seems if you give children water to play with, they will be happy for hours, and in this case you get the patio cleaned at the same time!! Note my son Andrew in charge of the hose while the girls do the hard work! This photo was taken in the garden in the summer of 1999.

The layout was made for the April Peardrop Crop Challenge 'Jump in Puddles' - scrap about water or getting wet. It was also used for a DAF challenge to use 5 old things from your stash

5 old things from your stash:
Kaisercraft Mermaid tails paper & 49 & Market Vintage Market
Watch Crystals
Doodlebug Stickers
Rubons
Gem Sequins
