The October challenge over on the Peartree Cutfile Facebook Group, is to create a layout using nature as your inspiration. There is also a free cutfile to download, which I chose to use for my layout.

First Swing

First Swing is the title of this layout I designed for the March Papermaze Crop Kit. It features a photo of my cousin's baby granddaughter on her first visit to the park.

The papers used in this design are all from Kaisercraft's Ubud Dreams collection, I love the colours and designs of these papers. I used some machine stitching, stenciling and paper piecing.

All the items used on the page are available from Vanessa at Papermaze and include punches from EK success and Martha Stewart, dies from Sizzix and Memory box, a stencil by Tim Holtz, Burlap, Acrylic Paint, Liquid PEarls, Flat-backed pearls, Stencils and Bazzill cardstock.
