Spire House - Whaley Bridge

52 Walks with my Camera 2010 - Week 40

While in Manchester we chose to stay in a Bend and Breakfast at Whaley Bridge in the Peak District. Spire House is a converted church. We took a walk around the grounds to photograph this unusual B &B.

Hilary and David were great hosts and welcomed us to the former Christ Church. Built in 1903, the church was converted into residential accommodation in 1997. They have retained many of the original features.

We hope to make this a regular place to stay over the next four years.
