I wanted to create a layout for my brother Robert's album to tell the story of the cine camera he found in an antique shop recently. It is exactly the same as the one my father had when we were children. Robert had all the films Dad had taken digitalised a few years ago making them much easier for us all to view. Sadly it's now very difficult and costly to get the 8mm film developed, and he ended up sending away to Hollywood to have his first film developed last year.
For this layout I used several papers from Kaisercraft's Blue Bay collection. Baltic was used for the background, with Placid and Shimmer for the layering. The paper for the photo mount was from Kaisercraft's Always and Forever collection - Devotion and Promise. I used acetate film strips fro Kaisercraft's Keepsake collection. I also used some Blue Bay Stickers.
The Picture Wheel die is a Sizzix one from Tim Holtz, and I made the tag from a scrap of Kraft Bazzill. The rubons for the title and the date are from two different packs by Autumn Leaves.
finally I added a selection of embellishments from my stash, including a charm, Nuvo Crystal Drops, a button badge and dew drops.
Thanks for looking.

Mellow Colours of Autumn
This weeks Kraftin' Kimmie challenge 'Fall into Fall' is to use autumnal colours.
I chose a Moonlight Whispers stamp called 'Curtis', and coloured him with my Promarkers. I stamped his image onto the striped paper to cut out his dungarees to stick to the image before colouring. The sentiment came with this stamp too.
I knew I had several Basic Grey collections that would work for this challenge, and decided on the retired Mellow collection

I used these papers to layer up the image and used the Fabulous Findings Cartridge with the Cricut to make the tag.
The image and the greeting were stamped with brown Memento ink onto digital cardstock.
I added some paper leaves which have been in my stash for some time. along with the Mellow papers!
I looped some thick jute twine through the tag top.

Change of Heart

Here is another page I made at Jilly's on Saturday. I used the September Scrapaholix kit. There are three pieces of patterned paper and so far I have only used one. I have also used two of the four sheets of Bazzill card stock. The colour matches are excellent. I gutted the Aqua coloured Bazzill, and cut the My Mind's Eye paper down by 1.5 cm on all four sides as I did not want to loose too much of the corner designs. I used stamps to continue the patterns over the edge of the paper onto the card stock. The flower stamps are from Stampin' Up, and the swirls are from Autumn Leaves. The Cricut alphabet is another one of Jill's I used at the crop. I cut the photo mat with scalloped scissors and added a drop of Liquid Pearls to each scallop.
The photos show Emily, before and after dying her hair red. We were on holiday in Suffolk and she decided she needed a change, the colour is stunning, and really suits her.
