Andrew's birthday card in on it's way to America, as he will be spending his 21st in Ohio where he is at university this year.
The gate fold card was made with Basic Grey Basics papers, and some gold Miri card. I resisted the temptation to add anything too lumpy as it has to go buy air mail.
This is the front, and decorated with gold stickles glitter glue and two keys from the element sticker sheet in the Basic Grey Serenade collection. The stamps are from Docrafts Papermania Typography range.
Inside I used a stamp called 'Huge Happy Birthday' by Woodware. Each of the letters was stamped a second time onto different patterned papers, cut out and placed over the original. I added lots of chestnut brown chalk ink to all the edges and stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa ink pad.
Happy Birthday Andrew - looking forward to seeing you on Skype later.

Happy Birthday Zak - Shore Thing
It was Zak's birthday a few weeks ago and so I chose this Docraft's Square Urban, Michael Powell stamp called 'Shore Thing' to create him a card.
This is the stamp and I'm looking forward to colouring this in many different ways. I also have a few others in this range, including a couple I had for my birthday (thanks Linda).
Hope you had a great birthday Zak and I look forward to catching up with you at the weekend.

Tulip Decoupage Pack
Linda and I called in at The Kraft Shop on Friday at the Gorse Hill Nursery. We treated ourselves to a Do Craft Tulip Decoupage Pack each. This pack is called 'Birthday Wishes'.
There are two copies of each of four designs in a pack, plus two each of four different patterns background papers. Here is what I made with one of each design.
Generally I prefer to cut my own images for decoupage and don't like the die cut ones as you get all the little tabs attached which in my opinion need cutting off and there is often a bit of a white 'halo' around the images in some places, which I also end up cutting off, making it a bit of a waste of time buying them pre-cut. However there is no option but to by them like this sometimes. Although I still had to do the trimming with this pack it wasn't too bad, the die cutting was more accurate than usual. Tidying the images with my scissors was a job to do while watching TV!
Here are the four cards I made on Friday evening, lots of 3D foam pads and double sided tape later:
