Little Miss Pink

Happy First Birthday Lucy!

Here is a picture of Lucy just after her first birthday in January. We visited to celebrate with the family. Talking to Heather, the triplets mum, we realised that she tends to dress Lucy in pink and Hannah in other colours. Thus the title 'Little Miss Pink'.

Looking back at the photos and thinking about it I tended to do this with my triplets when they were babies. I would dress Emily in pink, Andrew in blue and Catherine in lemon or mint or any other colour. Very rarely did I dress the girls the same, maybe the same style in different colours, but not often the identical garments.

The paper used for the layout are My Mind's Eye, and a piece of brown paper from Basic Grey's 'Infuse' collection. The scalloped circles were made using a flower from the 'Sweet Treats' Cricut Cartridge. The title is the shadow letters from the 'Zoo Baloo' cart. There are a lot of hand drawn stitches in brown pen, ribbon and some flower buttons. The scalloped edge is a stampin' Up punch. I have used several shades of pink Bazzill including two shades of Dotted Swiss.

  1. Such a sweetie!
Photo does not do this one justice, colours are lovely with the photo and flower matched those on the cardi perfectly. Loved the way you used the edge colours of the cardi's neck to match and simulate the daisy pattern.
Great to have spent some time together brain storming! Thanks soooo much Lynn x
