Mother's Day

The colour combination for this weeks Passion for Pro markers challenge is Bright Green and Mango.

I thought I would use this challenge to make a mother's day card. I am up in my scrapping area making my card for my Mum while my kids haCheck Spellingve told me to keep out of Catherine's room where they are making plans for me!

I used Basic Grey's Nook and Pantry collection pack, together with these two rubber stamped images given to me by my lovely friend Anita. I added green and orange gems, ribbon and two kitchen buttons which have been in my stash for years. The tile was cut using Designer's Calendar Cartridge for the Cricut.

Love using good quality, double sided papers for card making, means the inside and the back of the card are self decorated! I will make a small insert for my greetings inside.

Well, the gifts are wrapped and I have been food shopping today. I'm taking the kids over to Mum's and my brother and I are cooking lunch there.

Pro markers used are: mango with honeycomb and soft peach for shading. Bright green with forest green and leaf green for shading. Crimson on dress. Umber, caramel and henna for hair. Canary for egg. Pastel pink, dusky pink, ivory, satin, blush and black. I also used the blender pen and a white gel pen for highlights.
