From my Ancestry research and talking to family:

Alfred William Humm
Known as 'Alf'

Born 8th February 1902 in Wandsworth, London to Henry William Humm and Susan Dunn. Alf was one of six children.

Alf married Edna Ellaline Bryan Holder on 26th May 1928.

They had two daughters Joyce and Janet.

Alf died in May 1994 in Eastbourne, Sussex

The complication in our family tree is that Edna's brother Ernest married Alf's sister Winifred (my grandparents)."
