I'm Gonna Wash That Man Right Outta My Hair!

I created this layout for the First Birthday Peartree Cutfile Crop, Challenge 6 is to Pear it up with Stamps. I used stamps by JOFY to make a border to reflect the film strip cutfiles.

The layput shows the girls in their ballet dance group, the summer show in 2004, was Movie Madness and this dance was to the song 'I'm Gonna Wash That Man Right Outa My Hair' from the film South Pacific.

Dance in the Rain

Peartree Cutfile 1st birthday challenge # 18 - Pear it up with NOTHING! It was strange not backing the cutfile, or decorating it in some way.

I used a photo from the children's nursery school days, taken on leaving the house in the rain with new rainbow umbrellas.

Big Thunder Mountain

This layout was created for two challenges, one on Dotty About Flair and the other is Peartree Cutfiles.

#5 More Adventure! challenge in the MORE IS MORE BIRTHDAY CROP!

For Peartree Cutfile 1st birthday challenge #20 - Pear it up with wood or cork.
I used lots of wood effect papers.

The photos were from a trip to Disneyland Paris and a ride on Big Thunder Mountain.
I also used some old stickers - images and letters.

Rainbows

This scrapbook page is a photo from our time in Washington D.C. in 2019. We found some interesting murals in Old Town, Alexandria. This one was painted by Meg Biram, with the intention of engaging visitors, through interactive art portraying the character of the town and it's passion for inclusivity. A bench had been set infront of Meg's rainbow mural for visitors to pose for a photo.

Topiary at Disney

The photo used in this layout was taken at Florida Magic Kingdom and it was in response for a challenge on the Dotty About Flair facebook group. Challenge #7 is to be more Adam! For example use more - new stash, fussy cutting, Butterflies, Camera Icon, Twine, Long Title, Hearts, Florals, Frames, Acrylic, Stripes, Sequins, Multi-Coloured Alphas, Orange, Wood Grain, Splatters, Ephemera, Stars, Arrows, Torn Edges, Red, Small Word Stickers, Leaves, Gold, Friends, Tags, Animals, Clusters, Stamping, 3 Photos.

I know Adam has scrapped lots of Disney and Topiary in particular.

National Postal Museum

While in Washington D. C. Catherine and I went to the National Postal Museum, this layout shows a few photos I took and a couple from the website.

The layout was made for a Peartree Cutfile challenge #12 to use twine and thread. It's also for the Dotty About Flair surprise challenge #3 All about stamping ( in this case postage stamps as well as rubber stamping).

Beach - IOW 1966

We spent many summer holidays on the Isle of Wight in the 1960's. These photos show me and my sister, together with our mother and grandmother, strolling along the beach at Seaview.

Golden Wedding
