Chess Champ

This layout was made for a DAF challenge - Sam's Tic-Tac-Toe. I used Splatters, Flair and Wood Veneer.

These photos were taken by my parents when Andrew went to stay with them for a few days in the school holidays. This is Old Town, Hastings.

Barbie Girl

Here is my second layout using the April Papermaze Kit, full of pretty pastel papers, cardstock and embellishments for spring and Easter themed layouts.

Emily was not a Barbie fan so I was amused to find these photos of her, with the trainers and doll she received for her 5th birthday. For this layout I used an April 2022 Page Map Sketch.

Egg Hunt

I'm over on the Scrap, Paper Scissors Blog for the Papermaze DT today to Welcome you to the April Papermaze Kit, full of pretty pastel papers, cardstock and embellishments for spring and Easter themed layouts. I have created two layouts for my first post, here is the first of them with an Easter egg hunt.

The layout features a photo of my children at their Nan and Grandads' house, about to hunt for Easter eggs in the garden.

Let's Get Messy!

Another layout for the Peardrop Crop April challenge - The challenge is 'Look for rainbows'. The isea being to use a rainbow colour scheme on your layout. I decided to scrap these photos of the children painting in the garden.

Bath Time Fun

This layout was made for the Peartree Cutfile Design Team challenge. A free cutfile to use to create a challenge layout of your choice.

I used the freebie 'Raindrops' cutfile by cutting it twice. Both my papers are Pinkfresh Studio:
Indigo Hills 2 collection - Eminence for the background and Just A Little Lovely - Around here for the drops and title.
 
The title is cut from Tim Holtz BIGZ XL 'Handmade' die.
I added Nuvo Glitter drops to the water drops

This Was So Much Fun

It seems if you give children water to play with, they will be happy for hours, and in this case you get the patio cleaned at the same time!! Note my son Andrew in charge of the hose while the girls do the hard work! This photo was taken in the garden in the summer of 1999.

The layout was made for the April Peardrop Crop Challenge 'Jump in Puddles' - scrap about water or getting wet. It was also used for a DAF challenge to use 5 old things from your stash

Bee Happy

This is my entry for the Peartree Peardrop April challenge #1.

I chose to scrap this photo of the Winnie the Pooh characters dancing in the parade at Disneyland Paris. I used the Peartree Cutfile 'Bee Happy'.
