Big Friendly Giant - Helen's Dream

Catherine and I walked the Big Friendly Giant Trail back in 2016 - well the London bit anyway. She clocked up 35000 steps that day! Here she is with Helen's Dream (Helen Mirren) - I dream of England which features an oak tree. This jar was situated in Soho's golden Square.

The layout answers the brief of two challenges - PEartree cutfile and DAF.
The Peartree Cutfile challenge was to use Green - I used two cutfiles 'Dream Big' and the 'Jar of Hearts'.
The DAF challenge was a Grab 5 challenge and the items to include were:

Rainbows - on the flair
Washi tape - green dots from Lidl
Patterned paper - Vicki Boutin - Color Study

I also used:

Welly Weather

Here is my layout for challenge 7 set by Terri Morris for the Peartree Cutfile Online Crop. The challenge was a moodboard. I went with the autumnal theme and chose some of the colours from the board.

My photo is an old on I have been meaning to scrap for some time. It was around 1982, when I hadn't know Alan long and we were at the Hoo Ness Yacht Club. The boots and jacket were the first sailing gear I had, and which Alan got for me.

I used:
Simple Stories - Simple Vintage Great Escape collection
Bo Bunny - Bella Rosa collection
Bazzill
Gatherd Twigs Distress Ink

This is the cutfile I chose:

Just Me and the Road

I'm back again with another layout for the Peartree Cutfiles Online Crop. This was for challenge 11 set by the lovely Claire Louise - which is a colour challenge.

This is a photo of my daughter in December last year running, one of her theripies helping her cope with the last year of  the pandemic. She finds herelf in a stressful job she is not trained for as she is unable to follow her normal adventures in her role as a stage manager.

She knows she is lucky to have found temporary employment, but it is not a happy job and leaves her very stressed every day. She wrote a very moving piece about how she copes and what she is grateful for, which I have printed out and added to the back of the layout.

These are the colours Claire gave us to work with:

Here is the details of the trainers

I used:
Bazzill cardstock in colours to match Claire's spectrum
Bo Bunny - Broadwalk Collection - Sandcastles paper
Sand Acrylic paint for the letters
Gold eyelets
Martha Stewart - punch around the page punche set - Cherish
Tea Dye Distress Ink
Basic Grey Alphabet stickers

This is the Peartree Cutfile I used:

Loving these cutfiles.
Back with more soon
