Welcome Home

The day my baby brother came home from hospital about two weeks after he was born in June 1968! The photo shows me holding baby Robert and my sister Sylvie beside me.



This layout was made as a practice run to get the heart layout how I wanted it for another layout (which I have made using the Papermaze February kit and will be sharing with you on 17th).

I used a sheet of Cream Bazzill and splattered Distress Inks over the page, in red, yellow and blue.

I cut hearts from Simple Stories - Simple Linen Market Collection papers. I used scraps of different papers from this collection from my stash. I cut the shapes with three dies from the Tim Holtz, Sizzix Thinlits set - Stacked Tiles - Hearts.

The hearts were arranged in four rows of four, then I stitched through the rows, with black thread and a long stitch on the sewing machine.

Using Cardstock Stickers from the same collection, I added the scalloped border to the top of the page, and some phrases to each heart. I also used hearts, insects and flowers from the sticker sheet.

For the title I used some Doodlebug Designs Alphabet Soup puffy letter stickers, Bumblebee and
Blue Jean.

The Great Avunculi

On the Papermaze Blog you will find the second post using the January kit. This is my final layout and it features these photos taken at the garden centre cafe, when Florence was taken to meet up with her uncle and two aunties.

Kew at Christmas

I'm back on the Papermaze Blog today with my second post using the January kit. This is available in the shop or on the website. Plenty of wintery papers, embellishments and cardstock to create winter themed layouts.

Capital Yacht Club

A new post went live on the Papermaze Blog yesterday, with the new kit for the new year. The January kit is now available in the shop or on the website. The photos on this layout were taken in Washington DC at the yacht club on the bank of the Potomac River. A very cold, crisp but sunny winter day.

Winter Wishes
