389 days, 6 hours, 39 minutes, 27 seconds to go!

..............  countdown to the 2012 Olympics!

Catherine and I found ourselves in Trafalgar Square on Monday. We travelled to St Thomas' Hospital with Mum as she had to be there for treatment all day. After booking her in we were not required until the afternoon. We didn't want to go too far away so walked across Westminster Bridge, through St. James Park and on to Horse Guards Parade then out onto Trafalgar Square, where the Harry Potter fans were beginning to gather in preparation for today's premier of the final film in the series. Then off up the strand for some wedding clothes shopping and lunch in Leon's, before returning to St Thomas' again in the afternoon.

Despite our reason for being in London we had a good time while we waited in the warm sunshine. All went well for Mum and although it was a long day for all, she is feeling so much better.
