A Beautiful Autumn Day

Sunday the weather was very misty, but we got the bikes ready and headed off into the Rendlesham Forest. As we drew nearer the sun cam out and the mist disappeared. We had a lovely ride around the forest, showing Robert and Elaine the area.

Then we drove into Orford for a lovely lunch and an antique fair then onto Snape in the afternoon.

A lovely weekend thanks Elaine and Robert.

  1. I think that colourful mushroom is a 'Fly Agaric'- or so my housemate tells me ^^ Glad you're having a great time, and do I recognise that hat? *hugs* see you soon x

  2. Yes indeed that is Catherine's hat from the Scillies!

  3. Emily the mushroom is Amanita muscaria.
synonyms: Amanite tue-mouches, Fausse Oronge, Fly Agaric, Légyölö galoca, Roter Fliegenpilz, so your friend is right. They are beautiful but Deadly poisonous. Wesaw more today in Tunstall Forest.

  4. What super photos Lynn, that mushroom is quite breathtaking. It looks like you have had a wodnerful time altogether Hun :) xxx

  5. Sounds like you had a fab time :)
