My Mum, Mary in about 1953. This photo was taken by my Dad. When I asked her about the photo she told me she must have been about 19, because Dad gave her the locket for her birthday. The blouse was 'off the shoulder' and her mother didn't approve! The photo was probably taken at Dad's parent's house in Beckenham.

I made this layout for the Merly Impressions June Challenge - It is a recipe with a twist. You choose a line from the box below (horizontally, vertically or diagonally) and you will have 3 elements to use on your 12×12 layout.

So I picked - Lace, ..

... flowers ...

... and both punches and dies cuts.

I extended the existing florish on the paper with a Cricut one.

I also included layers, stitches and pearls (brads).
