Jar of Hearts Card

A card for Valentine's day and also for the Scrapology design team challenge - to use or represent something transparent.

I made a Trifold card and cut the top off at an angle. I added hearts of various sizes all cut from scraps of SEI-Twitterpated collection from a few years ago.

For the jar I used a stamp set by Woodware.
I stamped the image twice on paper with Memento ....

and twice on acetate with Staz-on ink..
I cut them so I had a jar with the rim and a lid in both card and acetate.

I coloured the card jar with Promarkers to give shading.
Then stick the acetate over the card, with a few small touches of glue which would be later covered by the tiny self adhesive hearts.

The card opened out

The reverse of the card opened out

I added some self adhesive hearts from Paperchase.

Pop over to Scrapology to see the challenge details in full.
Thanks for looking.
