Summer of Creative Chemistry - 102 - Day 3

On to day 3 of the Tim Holtz Summer of Creative Chemistry - with  On Line Card Classes - & Creative Chemistry 102. Still having fun creating with different medium and techniques - some I was aware of before and others are new.

Here are the six techniques tried out on day three - 'Distress Differently' being the theme of the day.


With a bit more detail for each tag and a little information without giving too much away!

1. Smudge Stamping Technique


This shows first and second (smudge) versions.

2. Brayered Stains Technique


Distress Stain - broken china, twisted citron, peacock feathers, mustard seed

3. Photo Tinting Technique

Distress Markers - stormy sky, wild honey, broken china, mermaid lagoon, dried marigold, squeezed lemonade, twisted citron, mowed lawn, weathered wood

4. Faux Cracked Glass Technique


Acetate clock from my stash

Alcohol inks (to back of acetate to show cracks)

5. Distress Glitter Rock Candy Technique
