Bright Lights Christmas Cards

For my crafty friends I made these cards for Christmas, I used some new stamps and a punch from Stampin' Up.

I used the Making Christmas Bright Stamp Set together with the Christmas Bulb Builder Punch. I punched a bulb to use as a template and blended ink over and around it using various colours of Distress Ink. Then I stamped the bulbs with Archival inks and punched out the shapes, adding them to the card with double-sided foam pads. The bulbs were linked together with some Baker's twine. I used miri card to punch the bulb ends and added them to each bulb.

Baby's First Christmas

I have a little extra for Christmas over on the Papermaze blog using the December kit. 

For this page I used a black and white version of a photo my nephew had taken of his one month old baby last Christmas.

Christmas Cookies Cards

I made a set of Christmas Cards using the new Tim Holtz Freshly Baked #1 Sizzix Thinlits die set.
I used Bazzill cardstock in various colours and 6" x 6" white card blanks. Once the cookie shapes were cut and layered, I used Glossy Accents to give them a shine.

Baker's Twine was used to link the golves and hange the cookies.

The greetings were cut from the same card with dies from Crafter's Companion.

Oh Christmas Tree

Today I'm sharing the second layout I made using the December Papermaze kit.This lovely seasonal kit could be used for Christmas and other layouts as many of the papers embellishments have a generic design to them.

For this layout I wanted to document Goerge choosing the Christmas tree. Here he is surrounded by trees. I love many of this year's Christmas dies from Sizzix, especially these trees and the deer.

Christmas Eve Engagement

I can't believe it's time for the last Papermaze kit of 2018! Another well coordinated collection of papers, cardstock and embellishments ready for us to make Christmas layouts. Hill Top Farm

It's time for second part of the November Papermaze kit, over on the Papermaze blog. I made two separate layouts which will be displayed side by side in my scrapbook much like a double layout. They feature photographs from our holiday in the Lake District two years ago, and a day spent at Near Sawrey visiting the home of Beatrix Potter.
