Celebrate Becoming 21!
My lovely girls Catherine and Emily at their 21st birthday celebration with our family at my brothers flat in Bromley a few months ago. I have already scrapped them in colour for a CIS challenge. Now they can have one each for their individual albums.
This page was created with the kit from the lovely Anita's class, I created mine at Debden as I can't get to her monthly classes. Anita's version can also be seen on the Scrapology Blog as she made it with the theme of Framed for the June challenge in mind. The papers are from Prima's Lyric collection as are the pearl swirls which were included in the kit. Most of the elements were cut from the papers, including some of the lacy bits. I cut the straight garland of flags so I could arrange them in a curved swag across the corner. Lovely big flat backed pearls were added between each flag. The butterflies were downloaded from Swirlydoos, printed and glittered with stickles.
I used my Big Shot and dies to create the rosettes and to cut the lacy doily above the photo. The numbers and letters are from two different sets of Thickers alphabet sticker sets by American Crafts.
Here is Anita's delightful layout, which is for the June 'F is for Framed' challenge over on Scrapology and also it is being taught at her classes.
Thanks for the class kit and inspiration Anita.
Thanks for looking
Lynn x
