Family Photo Box

I have finally completed my family photo Box! I started making this at the Merly Impressions retreat and realised it was going to take some time, so concentrated on the layout classes at the event, choosing to keep the box to do at home.

The kit was designed by Chrissy Tingey, using a Beyond the Page Recipe Box and 75 cents paper collection from Kaisercraft. 

In the summer I painted the edges of each piece then used crackle glaze, before covering with the papers provided. Then it all went away until this week when I decided to get the box finished as somewhere to store all the new family photos I have acquired from my cousin.

The Kaisercraft Wooden Flourish Medium hinges were also in the kit.

I added a Melissa Francis escutcheon, a sticker sheet from the 75 Cents collection for some flowers, oval frames and lace borders. acrylic paint, glue, Distress Inks, Crackle medium and Glossy Accents.

Now to fill with the photos!
