The stockings were hung ...

...by the chimney with care, in the hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there.

Over on Scrapology this month, Paula Pascual is challenging us to use her card as inspiration for making one of our own.

For my card I used an 8" x 8" scalloped card blank, and papers from Basic Grey's Eskimo Kisses collection. The lettering is left over from some My Mind's Eye, Winter Wonderland paper.

The stockings are cut with the Jolly Holidays cartridge and several scraps of Bazzill. In addition I used three tiny pegs, two bells, a button, some ribbon and twine.
