Flower Girl - Rosie

I was planning to use some bright colours with black and white with this photo of Rosie in her beautiful white dress with vibrant flowers embroidered around the hem. Then I spotted a layout by Brenda on Scrapbook.com and knew it would be an ideal setting for the photo, and so I asked her if I could scraplift.

So here is Rosie at a wedding reception in her pretty dress and headband.
I created the grid using the Cricut Design Space programme and images from several different cartridges (Sweethearts, Doodlecharms, Once Upon A Princess & Birthday Cakes). I created the grid and added the hearts then welded it all together. The result was cut from a 10" x 10" piece of white Bazzill.

Next a spread some distress ink in seven colours across my messy mat and spritzed it with water, then I swiped the die cut gird onto the wet inky mat.

After lifting it off, I left it to dry before sticking it to the background paper (Kaisercraft - Scrapyard collection - Rusty - reverse side).

Using scraps of vibrant patterned papers, to match the ink colours I cut some photo mats and circles to arrange around the photo.

I chose a scrap of white patterned paper to use for my title and used some old Memory Makers rub-ons (Black Heidi LC for the title and White Heidi small for the name and date).

I die cut two flowers and a leaf using Sizzix Craft Asylum dies and layered them up with a button for the centre. This was attached to the left of the photo.

Thanks for looking
