The centre of each square shape is different, but the outer rounds are the same, they are cleverly calculated to turn out the same size. There is a weekly PDF to download with the instructions for the square and where needed the corresponding triangle.
I worked a row of each colour used around the blanket once I had stitched them together and then added a scalloped edge rather then the tassels or bobbles on the original pattern.
I saw this image on the blog - "Merion’s hedgerow colourway includes shades Racing Green, Slate
Green, Pistachio, Raspberry Pink and Rich Mauve and a border shade of Misty Grey." I decided I wanted to make Mum's blanket with this colour scheme:
Merry Christmas Mum.
