This is the 12 metre tree that we found at St. Pancras Street Station in December 2011, when I met Emily off the train from Nottingham. She was coming home for Christmas from University.
The layout is for challenge #7 on FTLOPP's Cake Day (6th Birthday) challenge - Carrot Cake. The options are to use triengles and lots of embellieshments.
For this page I used an old sheet of patterned paper, which I think is from a Christmas collection by Simple Stories. The triangles are cut from scraps of a lot of different christmas patterned papers - I used the Tim Holtz Stacked Tiles - Triangles Thinlits dies.
The film strip and photo mat were cut from dark brown Bazzill and I used the Cricut for the film strip. I used some green jute twine for the bunting.
The title and date are created with some old Basic Grey alphabet stickers.
Then I used a lot of gems to decorate the trees!
There is one more challenge in the Cake Day series, and so I may get around to completing that later in the week.
Thanks for looking.
