Ben's First Birthday

It's taken a while to finish this layout I started a few months ago. I loved this photo my friend Amy took of her son Ben on his first birthday back in December 2014.

I used papers from Simple Story's Say Cheese collection. I drew a large star on the paper and cut this out then measured in 1 cm from each point, joined the marks and cut the inner star out. I flipped the smaller star over to use the pattern on the reverse. I stuck the stars to the cardstock so they are off set from one another, and mounted my photo on top. I cut more stars with dies and scattered these around.

Sizzix Tim Holtz Alterations Sizzlets Decorative Strip dies - Wanted Alphabet and Mini Paper Rosettes in two sizes.
Memory Box 'Birthday'
I added a lot of gems.
