Knubbelchen!

The other item I got wool for when in 'Wool for Ewe', Aberdeen was the Knubbelchen!
A snuggle comfort baby toy.
A Knubbelchen was on display in the shop along with the sock wool, I asked about it and was told where to find the pattern and what wool I needed to buy.
So armed with three 25g balls of My First Regia in Anna (white), Jonas (blue) and Sandra (multi) I set off to look up the pattern.

This is the first time I have knitted in the round - got used to it after a while.
A set of 2.5 mm double ended knitting needles is required and a little stuffing for the head.

Knubbelchen is the brain child/needle child of a designer known on Ravelry as Pezi888 from Germany.  The pattern is free on Ravelry.

The pattern is designed without a face, but the question is do I add one or not?
This was made for baby Elliot as his Christmas gift.
Thanks for looking

  1. Hi Lynn
I think this is lovely but I would prefer it to have at least eyes and nose. It looks a bit spooky without anything.
