This is my 4th Christmas layout made with the December Papermaze kit. This time I have used photos from our holiday to Iceland last
Christmas. We learnt much about the legends and folk law surrounding the
festivities from the tour guides, one of them read the fairy stories to
us on the long journeys through the snow covered mountains.
To purchase the kit have a look at the great new shop website, you will find all the products used on my post, and much, much more. To see how the layouts were made - please see the blog.

Last year I made my Mum an Advent Calendar using tiny jam jars and lots of Doodlebug Designs Christmas Papers. This year I refilled these jars for her and made a new Calendar for my sister.
For this box I found a pine craft and painted it with pale pink acrylic paint. Then I decorated it with papers and stickers from Kaisercraft's Sparkle collection.
I used a foiled paper called Shiny to cover the sides of the box, trees on the outside and the black on the inside.
I placed the jars in rows of five in the box, then measured the gap this left and with greyboard and duck tape I made a panel to fill the gap and stop the jars from rolling about. This also gave me a secret place to hide a gift. I covered the top of this panel with the snowflake side of Luster paper.
I also cut some of the quotes from the Luster paper and from the Sticker Pad to add decoration. The pad also provided other additional images, numbers and words.
The jars were filled with some favourite sweets.
Hope you are enjoying the box of treats Sylvie! Happy Christmas. Thanks for looking. Lynn x
Here is the second kit I made using the December Papermaze kit.
This kit is a collection of Christmas papers, but several of them could
easily be used for non-Christmas layouts too. Take a look on the
fabulous new shop website, for the kit, the products used here, and much more. Please see the Scrap Paper Scissors Blog for details on how the layout was made.
For this layout I used this favourite old photo of my three babies wearing
the Christmas Pudding hats I knitted for them in 1992. I have scrapped
this photo before, but to keep things fair it has to be done three times
so there is one of each of their albums!
I was inspired by a layout on the Kaisercraft site by Trudi Harrison as a good starting point for my page.
From the kit I used:Authentique - Rejoice collection - Rejoice #22American Crafts - Heidi Swapp - Winter Wonderland collection - Poinsettia Lane Grenadine and Safari Bazzill
Merry Christmas
- This layout features a photograph of my daughter Catherine, having breakfast
with her cousins on Christmas Eve when she was doing Panto in Bromley in
2017. This layout is the first of six I have created for the Papermaze DT for December.
From the kit I used: Simple Stories - Jolly Holly collection - Cosy ChristmasAuthentique - Rejoice #22 Butter Mints and Safari Bazzill Papermaze exclusive star stencil Glittery chipboard star

This layout is an old picture I have wanted to scrap for years, and
shows my girls on the Isle of Wight, autumn half term 1999, when we
visited Osborne House. I made this with the November 2019 Papermaze Kit.
Please see the shop and the blog for details on how the layout as made and the products used.
