Easter Egg Hunt

This layout was made for the Peartree Cutfile April Number Challenge - To use 4 patterned papers.

Catherine and I set up a little egg hunt for Florence at The Hollies. She had a great time in her wellies and Easter bonnet, with a bunny basket to collect the eggs from the garden.

To make the layout, I did some more stash busting, and sorted some Basic Grey papers.

Basic Grey - June Bug papers, element stickers and alphabet stickers.
White Bazzill cardstock
Flower sequins
Nuvo Crystal Drops
Nuvo Glitter Drops
Black fine liner pen
Cricut

Back with the Peartree Colour challenge soon.

Happy Bee-Day

My design team bolg post for the second pair of layouts, made with the June Papermaze kit is available on the blog today. The kit is comprised of six double-sided patterned papers, two sheets Bazzill Basics cardstock and a whole bunch of co-ordinating embellishments. There is also a pack of four extra Bazzill Basics matching available to purchase to compliment the kit. This time I added some cake toppers to the more traditional supplies.

A few days after Florence's first birthday, she came to stay and we celebrated with a cake I made for us all to share.

The kit contained:

Kraft tag
Matte Jewels
Flower

There were items to share
Fern leaf stamp
Distress Ink

I also used:

You & Me

Today we had an extended crop at Papermaze, to help raise funds for the roof of the Otley Village Hall, where we meet every month. So instead of one, there were three layout kits available to purchase. Here is the first of those, designed by the talented Lorraine.

I chose to scrap these two pictures of a lovely day I shared with Catherine and Florence, last December. We went to Greenwich Park for a walk to Greenwich Village for a little Christmas shopping. We had lunch in The Pavilion, then back to Florence and Catherine's home to read one of the books we purchased.

The kit included:
Pre-Die-cut shapes and letters in funky foam and card.
12" x 12" White Cardstock
4 pieces of 12" x 6" patterned paper from various designers

I also used:
Distress Inks
Black fine liner pen
Doodlebug Designs Alphabet Soup letter stickers

From the kit I used:

Echo Park - Here Comes the Sun - Brighten your Day Dots
Bazzill Basics Cardstock - CS White & Grenadine
Jen Hadfield puffy flower stickers

From my stash I used:

Bird Crazy Card for Sam

My nephew Sam, celebrated his birthday on Monday and here is the card I made for him. I used the Tim Holtz Bird Crazy Stamps together with some JOFY stamps.

My rainbow bird card was created with:
Tim Holtz Bird Crazy Stamps
JOFY stamps
Distress Markers
Water pen and spritzer
Black pen
Watercolour paper

I layered up the bird by cutting all the pieces and using 3D foam pads. The leaves were added to the branch in the same way. Finally I drew the hat, coloured and cut it out and added it to the bird. The finished card is 6" x 6".

Hope you had a great birthday Sam.
