A Design Team layout made for the Papermaze blog, using the July kit which is available from the shop or online. This one features my daughter dressed up for book week in a flower fairy costume I made for her.

Rainbow Maker - Online Card Class

I enrolled for the Online Card Class -Rainbow Maker a few days late, and I am trying to catch up, as well as doing lots of other things I need to be involved in right now. Here are a few things from days 1 and 2. It has been great fun, and very inspiring, there is so much more I want to try and I have only tried a few parts of the first two days.

I'm showing my experimental pieces and then where appropriate, the card made from that piece. I have used different inks and brushes, blending tools, stencils, water spritzer. Then to make the sampels into cards I used a variety of dies and stamps. It was aslo a good opportunity to make more use of the Distress Oxide ink pads.

I can recommend this class, and look forward to trying more.

Summer of Creative Chemistry 103 - day 5

Day 5 of Creative Chemistry is all about using Alcohol Ink and Yupo. This was a bit more out of my normal comfort zone for creating backgrounds and images but it was great once I got started and I think I will use these amazing techniques again.

The new Creative Chemistry Class is now underway for 2016 and today I have been working on day 1 which deals with Distress Accessories. What a brilliant class to start us off - it's great to build on what was learnt in 101 and 102, and move on as there are new techniques to learn and new products since the last class was issued.
