The Girls Together - 21st Birthday

Me and the girls ready to go out on their 21st birthday, Andrew was away in America for the year as part of his physics degree course.

This is one of Paige Evans class layouts, Quilt background. I didn't have the paper Paige used, so I created my own circle and petals templates and cut the shapes from a sheet of Blooming Wild paper, #15.

I chose a sheet of Paige's Garden Shoppe paper # 4 for the background. In addition I used various enamel dots, Thickers and stickers.

The photo mats are made from scraps of Eacho Park - Here Comes The Sun - Brighten Your Day paper.

Mellennium Fun With Paint and Glass

The Journey for Change Challenge is still running on FTLOPP facebook group, and here is my answer to challenge #8 - Moving with the Times. So to make a layout with moving parts. I have chosen to make a folder to hold some newspaper reports and my journalling.

I started scrapping this photo some years ago and it has been unfinished in my craft room since. When I found it I decided to start again and usie it for this challenge.

Back in 2000, I was asked if I could design a stained glass window to go in the school hall. There was an old one put in when the school was built, but an extension meant there would be a similar window at the other end of the hall. So I set about designing the window, and ended up painting it with glass paints and the help of two other parents. Luckily we were able to do this before the panels were installed.

With some Colour Study papers from Vicki Boutin's collection I made a folder for the cuttings. I used some mini tags from Doodlebug Designs Inc. I tied these together with some twine.

The letter stickers were also from Doodlebug Designs Inc.

Precious Baby Boy

At Christmas I gave my brother the album I have been working on for some years. There were a few new layouts included, which I have not yet shared on the blog. Here is the first of them.

I had my Doodlebug Designs papers out as I was making Christmas layouts and found these papers. I remembered saving them for baby the purpose of scraplifting a layout I had seen on Scrapbook.com by Melinda Spinks back in 2012. Mine turned out quite different but I liked Melinda's original idea and took it from there with different papers.

I used: Papers and stickers from Doodlebug Designs Inc.
Various dew drops, gems, sequins and enamel dots
Bazzill Jut The Edge cardstock strips.

Thanks for looking.
