52 Week Card Challenge 2014 - Week 20

Over on Nat's Kool Kitty Musings Blog  The theme for week 20 was based on a very popular tradition of ...
'Show and Tell'

Reminds me of when the children were in reception class and were allowed to take something for show and tell each Friday. Trying to steer them away from taking anything too precious was often one of my biggest challenges.

Every crop I go to we tend to take along our recently acquired techniques, newest gadgets, papers or embellishments to show off and share with all! Often holding mini workshops.

So for week 20 we were asked to make a card to featuring a recent crafty purchase.

I'm a week behind with this challenge owing to the Disney trip followed by a weekend trip to Manchester to bring Andrew home from Uni.

Here is the most recent acquisition to my crafting tools

Die-namics alphabet dies in upper and lower case these cut beautifully and pop out of the die so easily.
I was inspired to but the Lawn Fawn dies having seen Natty use them.
All three of these dies were used on this new baby card for the lovely Helen and Adam who had a baby daughter earlier this month.

I also used:
Patterned papers - Doodlebug Designs Inc. Petite Prints in bubblegum Pink
Inks - Memento Tuxedo Black for stamping and Colorbox Chalk Inks
Crucit - New Arrival Cart.
Stickles - Crystal
Card Blank - 6" x 6" scalloped card by Craftwork Crafts
Cardstock - Miri card and Bazzill
Punches - Woodware
Stamps - Stampin' Up and Lili of the Valley
Other - lace, gems, ribbon

Here is the inside of the card:
