Sunflowers

I was asked to make a sunflower card. I looked up at my Cricut Cartridges and found this on the 'Walk in my Garden Cartridge. I used a mix of cardstock and patterned paper scraps. The mount is cut with the Lacy Labels cartridge.

Then I made a couple more.

The greetings were made with a Lili of the Valley greeting stamp and a Woodware scalloped circle punch. I added some ribbons and some Craftwork Cards card candi.

1930's Dance Marathon

I wanted to scrap some of the photos from Catherine's play publicity photo shoot, and made this at our Scrapology crop last weekend.

I used the Kaiser Craft - Madame Boutique collection as the colours were prefect for her dress. I selected the 'Blouse' sheet for the background and the die cut circle sheet is called 'Lace'. I gutted a circle from the centre of the background paper before sticking the die cut sheet down. I inked the edges of the circle.

 also used:
Beige and turquoise Bazzill Cardstock
American Craft Thickers - self adhesive glittery letters for title
Cicut machine and Lacy Labels cartridge for the journalling block, cut from reverse side gutted piece.
Stampin' Up oval punches
Flat backed pearls
Perfect Pearls
Flat backed glass beads from Quixotic Paperie.

I am now working on a second page to go with this one, and will blog when finished.

Congratulations to Nicola and Steven

My daughter Catherine has gone off to a wedding with her boyfriend, George today. Steven is George's older brother and his is marrying Nicola. Congratulations to you both.

I made this easel card for them to give. Using my Magnolia 'Loving Couple' stamp.

The colour scheme for the wedding is black and white, so it was a good excuse to use these beautifully sophisticated Bo Bunny 'Enchanted' papers which Linda gave me (thanks Linda).

I used an 8" x 8" scalloped Craftwork Cards card blank.

Cutting papers:
Enchanted Cut Outs two 6" x 6" squares back to back to mount the picture on, so it looks good from the back.
19cm x 19.5cm Enchanted Dots to cover folded front of card.
10cm x 19cm Enchanted Stripe paper for inside.

Greeting
Stamp is Lili of the Valley 'Happy Wedding Day'
Woodware scalloped circle punch

Names
Cricut, Plantin Schoolbook cartridge and black cardstock.

Pens - Promarkers
ivory, blush, cool grey 1 to 5, metallic silver, tan, caramel, burnt umber, soft green oatmeal.

Flat backed pearls, and gems, ribbon, two small silver wedding rings, black chalk ink, and stickles crystal glitter.
Craftwork Cards card candi and blank card.

Hope you have a lovely day Catherine and George and Congratulations to the happy couple.
