Touring Scotland with the EV - Day 8

Day 8 (Sunday, 9th October)

Travelled to Portree the main town on Skye today as we wanted to have a look around, but also needed to find the chargers there, this would make or break our being able to travel on to Harris next week. It's a bit like a treasure hunt, searching for the chargers on the Zap-Map app on the phone, using maps and/or the Sat Nav in the car and spotting the pump when you arrive at the post code! As you can see from the photo below we found the pump and it was working! There is also another in the same town so we knew we could continue with our plans.

We found The Granary a coffee shop & restaurant where we were able to enjoy lunch outside.

We stopped at a pretty spot called Sligachan on the route back to the cottage. It is very popular with photographers, artists and walkers.

We also visited a place called Isleornsay which is near the turn off to the long and winding, narrow, single track road to our cottage.

Thanks for looking
Lynn x
