Lily Pond CAL - Part 2

I have finally finished my Lily Pond blanket - Stylecraft's Crochet Along (CAL). I introduced the project on the blog back in May when I had only completed the first three classes. I worked all the crochet pieces and brought them on holiday with me, now I have done all the joining together and finishing off with the border edging. It still needs blocking, but I'm really pleased with the result.

I took some photos near Tarskaviag Bay, on Skye yesterday. 

I have had great fun learning new and re-learning old crochet techniques, which have meant I have been able to try other projects - which will have to remain under wraps as they are birthday gifts.
